The one in September was really nice, and I wasn't overly nervous. There were lots of flowers in a big space outside and a few hundred people drank champagne put on by the gallery, it was lovely.

Until I got very drunk. A load of B-list tabloid hawkers turned up which was funny, I then fell over on my arse in front of everyone trying to look up at the sign that said my name, some joker set off the fire alarm and I then accosted the sister of the gallery owner, suspecting her of pilfering booze - something I have not been forgiven for to this day.

Have some drink and drugs and then you won't be nervous. Actually no drugs they are naughty.

Ooh yes, let's all talk about Ben for a change!
Everything else is so unfashionably irrelevant, after all.

Which fire Flux?

this thread is totally bipolar.

change the subject..? Why..
I don't see anything wrong to talk about politics, homofobia or dislexia in here.. Its actually better than read valentine's rants and Ben's friends asking about his latest expo and Ben informing all of us about the "few hundred people drank champagne"... So yes, keep it up with the politics or something else than this, because I think my lollerskates just broke!!!

And Ben.. Why don't you post something interesting instead of saying that Sebastion posts are irrelevant??

No fire Geraldine. No fire at all. (Just taking the piss, and almost, almost enjoying it - dangerous beginnings of guilty pleasure! oops...)

I'm sick of people breaking threads because the subjects are too political, intellectual or emotional, not to their personal taste, or whatever. I'm sick of people here bitching because they think it's smart, or 'look-at-me-instead!' clever. I'm sick of the perversity and duplicity I encounter here. Is this the best that fashion has to offer? Is this it?

Any of it?

Bof.

this reminds me of when miss pauline fleming says, 'this school has been torn apart by tragedy so lets turn this cafeteria into one mighty circus!'

Boeuf. (en daube)

OK gang I am realy sorry to have created such an issue on this. I was using an example to show the all ready known fact that the system is made up of giving people information, and miss information, and consists of extream double standards in order to keep poulations under control,( as the relatives to soldiers at Deepcut) in other words, dont belive what they say, and get on with your own lives, the only reason I went on this threat was becouse of the refrence on the front page at the studio, from America.
I am not botherd at the same time what people think, as mentioned by someone else in the forum I have a mind of my own which is built up from a wealth of experience, and also reading about information that backs up my views, at the same time I do try not to be biased, but I proberbly am, Ref reading the Guardian, I am flatterd that people think I read such quality papers, how do you learn about things if you dont follow up by reading not just the Guardian, but the times,Telegraph and the best one of all even if it is getting a littal negative at the moment, the Independant especialy on Saturdays.
These issues do effect the way we work and think, they effect our lives.
I just find this statement from an inteligent person a littal strange.Maby we can move on now. All the best.
