I think its time for Sebastion to start thinking out side the box. By that I mean, alot of us who live outside the UK are not able to read the local rag headlines. Lets get on universal topics of fashion that we all can realte to. How about Sid Visious and Malcome Mc Claren/Vivianne Westwood political fashion in the 80's. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN! This box/forum is about fashion. Sebastion, what does politics have to do with fashion? I am with Ben M.....chill out and get a grip on topics that relate to fashion......I think you are more interested in being on the top thread than anything you are really talking about.......

Just my take......please take no offense......you seem like an interesting dude...

Sorry gang I know we all care, but as mentioned before if we dont talk about sutuations that relate directly or indirectly to us, how will peoppe in other areas of Town Country the World, know that we dont all ways agree with the way we are being treated, I have been in situations where it has been instilled in me that Human life outside the powers that be has very littal values, I am pashionet and emotional, I am not sorry for that, it makes me the person I am and I would rather have pashion, emotion, and respect for others than be like some of the leaders I see. Sorry for bringing the topic up or am I.? Will not mention it again,All the best William Benn Valentine.I realised that this could heat up a bit, but never mind. By the way sometimes the obvious does need to be stated, in order to remind others that we are together on this. Cool

Sebastion your personal political opinions are of little interest to what I imagine is a majority here, please don't start a freedom of speech racket now. I think you need to chill out and get on with things matey, you seem to rant a lot about not getting your work in any publications, however you vow that you won't leave Plymouth to even venture up to London to do any appointments, you moan about the state of the world yet you do it on a forum dedicated to fashion and creativity - surely one place people will come to get away from all the spin and propaganda soaking us in general life.

My advice to you is to take some time out and decide what you want to do with your life, break it up and start from there. You seem dedicated, if a little odd to be fair - why not do some work placements and learn a bit more about the industry?

Also one thing that has always perplexed me somewhat, how come sometimes your posts are written in word perfect english, and other times quite the opposite? Are you a schizophrenic dyslexic?

Just quickly, the reason I was so quick to criticise this post should frankly be rather obvious, it's utterly irrelevant.

"Legal experts are warning that (the Labour government) is trying to grab unprecedented powers to make sweeping changes to the law without the approval of MPs.

An eminent group of lawyers said the Government wants to be able to rewrite almost any piece of legislation without any reference or accountability to Parliament.

This means that ministers would be able to change such legislation as divorce laws, introduce house arrest, curtail or abolish jury trial and give police powers to detain individuals, with no vote or discussion by the House of Commons, the Cambridge academics said.

John Spencer, professor of law at Cambridge University, said the Government is planning a 'major shift of power' which in any other country would require an amendment to the constitution."

Is this and things like it really irrelevant?

pfft

Ben I dont know if you realise but what goes on in Government greatly affects us and the way we work as creatives, you seem a great guy but very knieve in some areas.
I have seen the police in this Country abuse and ill treat people, by miss using laws made to protect people, to suit there own ends.
We can not sweep things under the carpet, they dont go away, we must talk openly on issues that are relavent to out freedom of speach and expression, otherwise it will be gone before we know where we are.
With all the respect in the world take your head out of the sand.
