Is it ever possible for that region to find peace within neighboring countries and tribes? Would it be possible for Middle East to have peace as in Western Europe?

.I think it's less about 'religion'....and more about one of the ' seven deadly sins'....PRIDE...and the false sense of the five letter words called.....HONOUR...at any cost.....even if it means sacrificing their own offspring......for nothing.....just the illusion of ...again.....' honour'....whatever that may mean....whatever that may mean.....

...if we take into account the whole history...as far as the Babylonian period, etc... I can predict that there is still someway to go.....It has never being the easiest place on Earth to achieve anything 'lasting'....it is far, far, far, far, far to complex and to be honest...rather impossible......They cannot even agree to anything among themselves ! !!..let alone with anyone else !!
The chances that Martians will one day visit our planet are far greater....than achieving peace in the Middle East...!!!

I think the leaders there use religion as a tool to control people and hold power, I really want to believe the general public in that region are really tired of endless battles and deaths.

How they police women in parts of the Middle East as far as the dress code goes-it's ridiculous. If you keep going east and reach India, Southeast Asia, China, the women never had to cover their faces and only wear black, and women in those places have just as deep of their own history and culture are modest in general in the way they dress. To punish human beings for how much or little skin they show on their bodies are crazy and inhuman. Why do men always feel they need to control women? Are they just so insecured in themselves they have to oppress women?
