At last it looks as though some of the other films got praise at the Oscars last night, moving away from the Broken Back Mountain fenomina, with Oscars going to George Clooney for his acting and the British film Constant Gardener getting awards, as geoge CLoonety said a lot of films this year seam to be worthy of awards and a lot are political movies questioning attitudes from the top, and the insinsecurity sent out.

i love the oscar goes to crash, to win on BBM is so cliche, and crash is such a beautiful movie that inspire and gives thoughts to lot of people, about the prejudices especially after what happen in the world these last few years.
and i'm really diappointed on the set decorators & costume winner is memoir... oh God, it's not like it's a hard thing to do, even the kimonos are not of that old patterns, it's so political, sice the movie is not accepted in japan and china...
the politics behind the award sometimes make me wanna screammmm

Politics gets in to every aspect of Art these days, we are just going through our annual saga called the Euro Vision Song Contest, the idea is great making Europe whole in media for once a year, but no matter how good the song is it can still get no points,a bit like films realy.

I think it's HORRIBLE that Crash won Best Picture.

It was just sufficiently well-written enough to raise it above the level of mediocrity, and was so transparently put together to be exactly the type of Very Imprtant Movie on a Very Important Issue that gets Oscar nominations without having to posess any genuine creativity or originality or value of any kind. It's a piece of crap.

'Well, that's just your opinion', you say? No. If you look at the best reviewed films of the year on Rotten Tomatoes, Crash is NOT EVEN IN THE TOP 100!!!

well, it got 8.4 out of 10 point at imdb.com
good night, and good luck got 7.9 out of 10
munich got 7.7 out of 10
capote got 8.0 out of 10
brokeback mountain got 7.9 out of 10

well, i guess it's just not my opinion... it's some people's opinion
