Good luck Patch and I agree and understand a lot of what Ben is saying, Bens pet hate is a photographer who runs his own magazine,in some cases thats seems to be the way to get established independantly and gain respect,I am not and I know that you are not moaning eiother Patch. I also know where Ben is coming from but at the same time how many people from not just across the Country but from a across the world run to London for the streets of Gold? As mentioned in another topic the insdustry is very age orientated and sometimes, creating your own style of work is more important than chasing money,so maby I should not have had a windge last week.
For anyone who is looking for the pot of gold and is prepared to possibly have his, or her creative style held back in some cases, go for it, there are a lot of peope chasing it.
You seem to be just starting out Patch and I wish you all the best of luck but keep pushing those ideas, never take no for an answer,be aware of where you are and where you are going, as well as what is going on in the industry, dont always listen to Colege Lecturers they may not be right in what they are saying and are only meeting there own briefs, which could also hold back your creative ideas.
