I may well be making this up to suit my own partisan interest (as I was brought up in St. Andrews) but hasn't Dundee got a a redoubtable fashion heritage including stylists Ray Petri and Joe McKenna and photographer Donald Milne (well, Broughty Ferry)?

Thankyou for your comments Sebastion. I do hope to develop my own style of work as I don't think the industry will take me seriously copying other peoples. More to the point...I could'nt take myself seriously. A website is a good way to attract interest however if I am lucky enough to get a position assisting one of my favoured photographers I don't think they would appreciate me promoting my own work whilest I am suppose to be helping to promote theirs. When I am working for myself though I will probably have an agent showing my work on their site. Are you inspired by any Photographers?

I think scotland in general has a good heritage of photographers and artists in the fashion world... A lot of the photographers I know in glasgow were self taught, I think a lot of them come through to photography from other avenues.

Are you studying in Dundee?

Yes Maikeru. I am studying in Dundee. I'll be finshing this year though. I have aquired a taste for studio lighting and feel that it will feature heavily in my work. I also like ultra slow films for the colour saturation and fine grain. I heard from a reliable source that Steven Miesels D&G campaign was inspired by Sin City. I have seen Sin City but found the high contrast in some of the scenes a bit heavy going for a full length film. However I can apreciate that style in stills. Do you follow Fashion Photography?
