Yeah, let's ignore the butch/nihilist posturing of the 'young' male contingency here and explore this eminently worthy fashion subject

Will someone please explain the bamboo thing? I'd post a link to the association-of-ideas/images this word is inspiring but (oh lucky you's) I can't find any

No I have not got my jock strap, (whoops I have given it away now), in a twist.
Bamboo comes from cane, so lets give this one a good spanking pleaase. I would like to know more about the Bamboo issue to Flux.
Kiniki clothing have been doing exotic underwear for men for years. In Plymouth we have Westward Bound which specialises in rubber shorts , clothing and bondage gear, for both men and women, it helps to pass the time I guess.( net nanny will be locking me out of this one)

Just a thought, lycra type rugby shorts would be great for football players, the game would be a lot more interesting.

in a part of irian jaya, there's a tribe called "dani" who uses a "horn like" thing called "koteka" to cover their vitals. it is made of local forest pumpkin.

Eurostar, I though that was a train from London to paris, via a very long tunel.
Didi yes I have seen this article of clothing, could it be called the Horn of plenty.?inztead of a KotekaWill it ever make the catwalk, now that would be interesting, a fshion show of trible wear.

I've gone off at a tangent again...

Brief history of the codpiece

Different styles of original here (scroll down)

People still wear them like this

and this

More typical modern day versions favoured by rock stars, with socks-in-pants problems (may supply photo if asked nicely)

I vaguely remember reading about an Italian style of codpiece (maybe in Casanova's memoires - first half, before I got bored), that had bells on the end so that men could audibly signal their attraction to passing ladies of the court (Mae West would have loved that!).
