ok hamburgereyes is a book/ magazine. many of these comments are brought to judgment upon glance at the website. which by the way is completely different than the print. I've seen the print issues and own them all. its about as traditional as it gets. b/w only film shot images of life and shit in their lives. its real , about as honest as it gets in documentary photography....! it has fashion elements that is when fashion gets in the way of their shot.

The only book that stick out in my mind is Mitch Epstein's Recreation: American Photographs 1973-1988

shaw, I think you would like it based on your choices, albeit it's all colour.

It has got to be for me the book series done for Versaca. Men With Out Ties, Rocks and Royals, great art work photographs by weber and I think Avendon as well as classical art.
The book on Avendons 60s is great also with silk sceen work solar pictures and great black and white pictures of people from the period.

Suane Micherals work is very clever, I did a take simlar to his by taking one image in a series further down the line that needed to be also in the firts picture(easy with digital) but before that it was very technical and needed a lot of thought to take the first picture, very clever photography and yes you are rightJustin(time) I guess. I love the wrestling scene he did with the two guys as well as the star series, and Narcises?
