f:lux, do you honestly think it requires 'balls' to say what you think on this forum?

I'm personally enamored by opinionated people, I may however not always get on with them. Opposing opinions at the end of the day make the world go around and are vital to any process. Anything that is challenging is good for the soul.
detlev: There are thousands of people who visit this site. Not all of them necessarily create profiles for themselves, and even when they have, only a tiny fraction seem to participate in this forum. That's not to say that they lack balls, but I suspect most sensibly refrain from getting into silly squabbles with the more opinionated contingent here. Which is a shame because we're being deprived of a wider variety of views. To be honest, I sometimes think balls are an impediment in debates. Leads to bullishness? Which neatly brings me to...
Hysterical: (you don't mind if I shorten do you? You've got such a long monniker) If you haven't already met Ben you two really should get together. It's tempting to add that you might then make a whole person, because your attitude and style of delivery is so like Ben's it's uncanny. Only the word 'ropey' is missing.
Valentine: I'm almost sorry you're not Ben! THAT might have been interesting?
eucinpyos: very good "what I did in my holidays" essay. But obviously not a particularly BOOYAH! experience for you. Chinese burns leave no marks, I'm told.
Ben Morris hasn't done anything, apart from have a hissy fit before ceasing, of his own volition, to openly comment here, apparently because he couldn't cope with people disagreeing with him. You'd think he would have realised by now that disagreements go both ways. There's nothing wrong with Ben Morris that realising he isn't at the centre of the universe wouldn't cure. Whoever you all are, you're really not doing the guy any favours! Timing the resuscitation of this thread the very day that Nick Knight's clip is showing in Moving Fashion just makes the whole thing smack of attention seeking. And what's the point of having a go at me anyway? Much like the vast majority of people here I don't care overmuch whether Ben Morris comes back or stays away. For me, Ben isn't the issue - what irritates me is this whole fuss over nothing, lets-make-a-minor-celebrity-of-someone-in-this-forum thing that's going on - and being insulted for saying so is pretty stupid too. If you really feel the need to build the man up, go ahead, but don't be surprised if people disagree and, when they do, don't try walking all over them either!

You could go the whole way and do it in a chat room, then you never have to leave your computers?
