Oh yeah, one more thing: NEVER, EVER simply take school staff's word to be the truth when it comes to the details of your education.

1. GET THEIR NAME so they can be held accountable
2. GET IT FROM MORE THEN ONE SOURCE so you know they're no just talking out their ass
3. GET IT IN WRITING whenever possible

Yeah, totally. The school would hate if the press were to make mention of such incidents. But I think brining it up with the school would just black list you, and then who knows what could happen to you... Though I think every student always has a complaint about their school, I don't think I've ever heard anything that would top the ones from CSM. Another thing, though tutors are not there to "baby sit" you, they are there to guide you, and help you make progress, after all, you ARE paying them for this! The tutors are paid handsomely. As well, why else would McQueen seem to have a disregard for CSM.

Sorry your CSM dream is crushed, at least you wouldn't have to hand over so much money to find out about this

I went to London College of Fashion, back in the day. Equally bad experiences, higlights included spending six months doing web page designing and six months painting and sketching. It was a photography course. Needless to say I dropped out after a tutor went mental at me for going on an assisting gig to Russia instead of 'painting class'.

Unfortunately The London Institute is pretty corrupted, my girlfreind (who's the only good thing that came from being at college) had a very similar experience to the person above that had everything nicked and they did nothing about it.

I always had problems with creative courses anyway, in some cases creative education really holds you back. My personal experience, and that of many of my close friends is avoid the London Institute at all costs. If you want to do fashion, try to get an interview at the Antwerp Academy instead.

Yep, fuck St. Martins the Antwerp Academy of Arts is the place to go;

I hear it's like Hogwarts for fashion apparently. I beleive that Raf, Bernhard Willhelm, Ann Demulemeister et al went there though I'm not 100% on all of those. It's certainly an incredible place to study fashion - and thats why I think it's the hardest place to get into.

Pretty cool though, good luck kids if you go for it.

Jesus, I sound like Sebastion.

So, that's the name! I was going to mention it, but I forgot the nameof school or where it is. Antwerp is definitely the place to go. I saw their work and was so blown away by it. I kept saying, this is student work?? no way! I'm not easily impressed, but the work there was just phenommenal.

CSM is soooo over-rated.
