Actually, funny that you shoudl say that. I have incredible respect from them. I am from Oakland, and they are from Berkeley and I have met them personally. They used to frequesnt a bar near my house. Anyway, I watched them going from having food thrown at them at the Gilman to.... you know. I don't really consider them "punk". Punk is the Stooges. Punk is Patti Smith.... the Pixies is a nice collaboration of punk/alternative. I would check them out if you have never heard much of their stuff. They were revered by Kurt Cobain. :) take it easy

I luuuuuv Halloween!!!! I have MY FIRST gig this Sunday and I need COSTUME ideas for my first gig. Anyone got any??? Feedback appreciated. I am online searching for ideas right now...I got sidetracked on this silly Halloween crossword puzzle at creepycrossword.com. I am such a dork! So ANY costume ideas need to leave my hands free so I can play my keyboard and needs to be INEXPENSIVE! Ideas soooo needed THX! BTW anyone remember that song by Soft Cell, "Let's go trick-or- treating, Dress up like Marilyn Manson!" Lol
