The charecter development was based on Dazed and Confused (no surprises there) and Nick had to go to a Sleaze re-launch party (remember that mag?) where trendies with wellies on heads started a third reich style bonfire with heat magazine and now magazine. When he told me that I thought Nathan Barley was very funny indeed...
