"Unnamed"-what the **** are you trying to say?

As for this topic, I am not happy about the current economic crisis. I guess I was wrong to think the system could self regulate, given the lack of knowledge on my part regarding the severe lack of regulations in the system, which really was set as a way to monitor greed of people and to prevent greed from destroying the function of the system. I think people have learned that we need certain oversight and regulation, and not let people run loose because the flaws in humans could over take the system.

I might be very NAIVE.... but I was wondering if the name VIOLENCE for a perfume is going to FACTUALLY contribute to promote or glamourise such ill in today's society ? .... I have so many questions in my mind on that respect .... BUT don't you think MR.UNNAMED PRODUCER that your reaction , to put it mildly, is rather overblown out of proportion and somehow seems to lack certain logic and analysis .... For one thing, how TRULY influential is NICK's KNIGHT conceptual and experimental project of VIOLENCE in today's youth by applying the name to a perfume ? ... For another thing street VIOLENCE has been grandiosely glamourised by RAP singers and many others in music and yet I don't hear a huge PUBLIC outcry out there about its content ? ... and not to forget the highly popular computer games !

VIOLENCE has always been GLAMOURISED by HOLLYWOOD and yet parents aren't stopping their children to view such films or watch TV for that matter .... I assume that UNNAMED PRODUCER does condom his daughter's watching anything VIOLENT on TV and by doing so to uphold his 'MORAL BELIEVES' ... and as I personally believe "One must always practice what one preaches to others " ... mind you people's ability to be VERBALLY destructive does say more about a character than mere claims of 'caring' about the influences on today's youth by a microscopical project on VIOLENCE when compared and put next to the VORACIOUS influence of today's MEDIA and the misguided devastatingly POLITICALLY CORRECT POLITICS that are carried out in the name of TOLERANCE and DEMOCRACY .....

Perhaps MR UNNAMED PRODUCER would care to do some research and inform himself on the 'ORIGINS of VIOLENCE' and there is a very interesting anthropological study written about it .... the INTERNET doesn't need to be a negative influence but it is also a WEALTH of KNOWLEDGE .... it all depends how you chose to use it ! .... you can freely make your choice " to become self-destructive or to contribute positively to help to improve our world" ........

So MR UNNAMED PRODUCER be CONSTRUCTIVE and do take up the HIGHLY GENEROUS and EXTREMELY KIND invitation extended to you by MR NICK KNIGHT, and do show us , the eager viewers, what POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION you can indeed make to help COMBAT : street VIOLENCE, improve people's ability to RESPECT each other, to be KIND to your fellow man, to respect WOMEN and her right to roam free without having to be VERBALLY ABUSE or PHYSICALLY attacked if just because she happens to be wearing a short skirt and therefore be called a H****E .... if just because in certain cultures women do seem to be considered to be INFERIOR to MEN .... and/or to dispose as they wish !

I must confess that for someone who considers himself an artist .... your highly ORTHODOX reaction in the matters of MORALITY has kept me wondering what has motivated you to be so hostile to the matters of 'FASHION ' and the project itself .... but then again I have a very VIVID imagination !

DO PLEASE take such a wonderful OPPORTUNITY and a true GENTLEMAN's like invitation extended to you by Mr Knight ...... and most of all BE BRAVE .... VERY BRAVE !

In reply to Galileo's Universe:

Every thing seems up in the air at the moment in some areas the governments are trying to over regulate on areas in the media and the arts where it is near in possible.
Society and culture is going through a shock revolution with the new technology of digital media. The spread of communicating has gone beyond the though process. I was wondering how much if not all of what is happening in thaw world is an explosion stemming from our new technological world. I still think that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the excuse from 9-11 has more to do with America and British Governments trying to bring the people back under there control. Read the Observer last Sunday about control of image making. We have covered this subject before, but it’s come up again. I have not had time to check it out yet but will do now. All the best Chris.

I think the financial crisis proved that this system needs to change, it couldn't deal with the global financial/credit market as is. I am not against regulations, depending on where to enforce and how much. We are living in some combination of social and capitalism now. The key is to find a right balance.
