I'm not so sure sure that she is 'anti woman' because of her personal convictions ... it sounds a lot like desperate propaganda from the press who are the loudspeakers for all politicians ... Why are they in panic ?

It seems rather funny to see that suddenly they don't know how to attack Mc Cain .... it has become very tricky for the Democrats who aren't anti anything ... so they think ! ... what a clever move by the way by the opposite party ! ..... the chase game has become rather difficult with the clear symbolism attached by having Obama and Palin as opposite camps ... in any case the whole anti-abortion theme never ceases to have a life of its own ..... a very private and personal matter indeed that belongs always in the realm of the individual's personal conscience and no one has the right to impose on such extremely complicated issue .....

Weird indeed that she has the power and the freedom to ban books from public libraries just like that ? It will be interested to see a list of the books she successfully managed to ban by disrespecting and violating the right to free information in a country that prides itself and considers a sacred principle both the freedom of opinion and speech ...

I guess that itâ??s a further extension of what is happening in America under its present administration the worrying thing is that it moves across to other Countries as they follow the American ways of doing things. In some ways we are all part of America.
That is why we should all be concerned as to what happens across the pond.

The thing is, what's happening in other parts of the world also influences America. The world is going in a new trend with new order as we speak. McCain is a moderate and Palin is far more conservative and to the right, which in worse secenerio if McCain wins and then suddenly dies Palin would take charge(which is why there are lots of debates of her lack of foreign policy experiences and the fact that she had only visited Canada, Iraq, and Mexico so far in her life), and the fact that US presidents have the power to appoint supreme court judges could indeed affect the trends of women's rights and individual freedom, and that in ways could affect the trends of the world.

I can sympathise with your concern about ..." we should all be concerned as to what happens across the pond." ... but we should be even far more concerned about what is happening in our ever expanding " misty lake " and the extremely sumptuous Ivory Tower we call " PARLIAMENT " run from Brussels where they claim to be working for 'OUR INTERESTS ' ... read " THEIRS " and the constant lobbying by MULTINATIONALS to extend the UNION af far as possible with all the implications attached .... in my opinion, of no importance , it has more to do with extending the multinationals' desire to accumulate more wealth, and with that comes more power .... that they no longer seem to find our part of , read WESTERN EUROPE ' affordable ' enough .

I think people should inform themselves more and see how much silenced misery and poverty is being caused in what once were very prosperous and harmonious societies .

The irony is that the countries that opted not to be part of that trend of the so called 'new world order '... read " open borders ' ... their economies do seem to be stronger .... and the irrational and nanny like type of interference from central Brussels hasn't harm them as much as others countries who do take every dictate from Brussels ... to the letter !....

Complex.. very complex ... but we shouldn't be to complacent and "TRUST' ... either the left or the right in the matters of deciding what is best for us ...........

Always read their lips but don't forget to take a lip's ' reader to make sure they are indeed letting their lips being read clearly ....... with or without lip stick on :) ...for one thing lip sticks are totally harmless objects of desire ...... I'm sure that the lovable 'Sus scobra domestica ' would also agree ! ... lol .... but never trust any male's or female's political lips with or without a lipstick on !

Every president's personal conviction could have affects on domestic and foreign policies, just look at what Bush has done. Abortion right was hard won by women and finally granted by the supreme court, no gov't in theory has the right to punish women on what they want to do with their bodies, but that wasn't so in history.

" The world is going in a new trend with new order as we speak. " .

Uhmm ?.. interesting you mention that ....it reminds me of the well known conspiracy theory called ' The New World Order ' - The People of The Light ; hard to prove .... but one thing is for sure the trend is that politicians have opened our eyes ! .... Everywhere politicians are being seen as working for their personal and ultimate causes , whatever that may be .... and they no longer listen to the voice of their people ! ..... and just as Alexander the Great in his time used as strategy in order to be able to rule his empire more easily .... he then encouraged a kind of ' Global Village ' ... we are today indeed becoming steadily a factual Global Village ..... where there are no trading borders giving then, the multinationals, the easiest way to rule the world as their empire ..... and they certainly take part in politics to make sure their aims solidify .... as time goes by .

The trends in general feel more and more conservative, that's why if McCain/Palin wins things would yet become even more so.

The irony is that it is precisely OBAMA who rather surprisingly seems to fit in the Illuminati's philosophy of the New World Order ... The NWO something he himself seems to be constantly hinting about ( Cosmo-Politism ).... I did find interesting his choice of using Berlin as his 'international platform ' ... never mind JFK and the symbolic attached to it ... but then again that is my personal perception ...

I did find it to be a 'REVELATION ' when the very respectable George Soros proudly stated his support for a candidate that certainly would agree with his views about how he would like to see the world organising 'itself' ... for the future to come :

The International Herald Tribune
GEORGE SOROS BACKS OBAMA (But Hedges His Bets)
JANUARY 27, 2007,

TOPICS Davos 2007------------------- 2008 Elections INDUSTRIES

George Soros, the billionaire former hedge fund manager, met with a group of reporters over lunch on Saturday — he paid the check — and offered views on everything from markets to American politics to Bill Gates as a philanthropist.

His own spending on what he calls “civil society” projects is on the rise. “It peaked at $600 million in the mid-90’s,” he said. “I meant to cut back to 300, but I never quite got there.” After stabilizing at about $400 million a year, it will be between $450 million and $500 million this year, Mr. Soros said.

He said he is introducing new projects to promote a common European foreign policy and study the integration of Muslims in 11 European cities.

Mr. Soros commended the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for doing good work while avoiding the hostility he had encountered with his efforts to hold governments accountable for spending. “They have chosen public health, which is like apple pie,” he said.

The United States is now recognizing the errors it had made in Iraq, he said, adding, “To what extent it recognizes the mistake will determine its future.” Mr. Soros said Turkey and Japan were still hurt by a reluctance to admit to dark parts of their history, and contrasted that reluctance to Germany’s rejection of its Nazi-era past.

“America needs to follow the policies it has introduced in Germany,” he said. “We have to go through a certain de-Nazification process.”

As for the U.S. 2008 presidential race, Mr. Soros, who gave $18 million to Democratic advocacy groups seeking to defeat President Bush in 2004, said he supported Barack Obama. But he also said he would support Hillary Clinton if she won the Democratic nomination. John McCain, he said, had “compromised far too much with the Bush administration” and was unlikely to win the Republican nomination. And who will win? Mr. Soros said he thinks the leading possibilities are former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

On investing, which made him rich, Mr. Soros said that “hedge funds are the market now,” which makes it much harder to beat the market than when he was a prominent hedge fund manager. He cautioned that the heavy use of debt to leverage up financial transactions — both in hedge funds and in companies bought by private equity funds — could prove damaging when and if the economy stumbles. — Floyd Norris

PS. Interesting that CHINA has been charmed by the idea of a NEW WORLD ORDER just at the moment when great multinationals are having the time of their life in the matters of how to make the world ....... more "prosperous' ... very enticing ... but there is always a dark and an often a sinister side when things seem ' to good to be true ' !

_________________________________________________________________________

Here some of such philosophy of " enlightenment " as argued by Robison, a professor of Natural Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh - Scotland,

"Their first and immediate aim is to get the possession of riches, power, and influence, without industry; and, to accomplish this, they want to abolish Christianity; and then dissolute manners and universal profligacy will procure them the adherents of all the wicked, and enable them to overturn all the civil governments of Europe; after which they will think of farther conquests, and extend their operations to the other quarters of the globe, till they have reduced mankind to the state of one indistinguishable chaotic mass." ...

But then again when thinking rationally this must certainly be a kind of 'SCIENCE FICTION ' .... but anything is possible .... and just as when we imagined that the SOVIET UNION would never collapse ... let alone embrace and very eagerly fall in love with the raw practices of capitalism as never seen before in our time ! The promises of riches are to tempting to ignore .....

One of the most ugent matters is to strengthen the United Nations, in this age of the old civilizations rising again, in order to prevent the world from slipping back to the rules of pre WW2.
