The US presidential election

Obama-Biden, McCain-Palin. This election is extremely important. The US is at a cross road, it could survive this setback if people picked the right team, or it could sink further into the abyss of recession and huge deficit. The potential vice presidents for this election are extremely important too. There is a first black presidential nominee, and the oldest nominee. I think Obama has thought of that, the potential of him being assassinated is no joke, and the potential of McCain dies during his presidency is no joke either, that's why I thought Obama has picked one of the strongest candidates he could find within his party, and McCain has lousy judgment in his choice for VP.

Oh Lord ! ( just borrowing the expression ) ... people are shocked by a woman whose unmarried daughter is 17 and pregnant ! ... isn't that really scandalous in our day and age ! ... of course being in politics it has a totally different ' dimension' , specially being a member of the Republican Party ... What I would hold against the lady in question is if indeed she is opposed to protecting the Polar Bear as an endangered specie... that puzzles me from a woman, with all the respect ! ... No, not a real sound choice if all that 'intelligent' gossip is true plus the fact that that she doesn't have the needed experience to be a Vice President ..... and yet we do have a Presidential candidate who equally has absolutely no experience as to be able to become the President of the most powerful nation in the the world and who had as a matter of a written fact been attending a really weird racist ' church' for ages and it wasn't until everything became public that he decided to 'DISTANT' himself from his very close friend and dear "SPIRITUAL' leader ... How about that for ... in the matters of full fledged hypocrisy ? and who also happens to have a blood relative , a half-brother , whom he has personally already met who is still living in total poverty in Africa in his original homeland ... while Mr. Presidential candidate , a public figure, is enjoying the great comforts of luxury and the glamourous adoration he now seems to be addicted to ... that bothers me when that person claims to want to 'help' and 'care' for the anonymous poor in America .... Now I really, really wonder !

As for Mc Cain dying soon ... what a real pitty that the poor people in Zimbabwe haven't had their prairs listened to , when it is about time for a very 'ancient' , very ugly character and truly mean gentleman politician to depart from office 'naturally' as in death whom they are forced to continue to call ' President' ! ... mind you the health care system there is not as half good as in America , quality wise . Live is ironic isn't it ?

I think they are all lousy candidates ........ perhaps with the exception of Biden, but who knows what kind of dead ghosts they'll find later in his tiny morality closet ! .. and yet he too might die while being 'Vice President ' .. no.. no one is ever safe from death however healthy his or her diet might be :):)

Uhmmmm .... the wheel of FORTUNE does seem to have got stack ! ... but let's hope that it will start turning again !!

The US media is at the age of paparazzi(US CNN is not about international news, it reports no international news AT ALL). Palin's daughter is pregnant, that sales papers, that helps rating, they were spinning that news all day yesterday. The real qualified people are not in politics, they are in humanitarian line of work. They are working for Doctors without Borders, or for the UN humanitarian work. That's true for all nations, probably. BTW, the so called "Spiritual" leader of Obama after videos of him leaked then went on to radio talk show and TV talk show circus for a while, he got his 15 minutes of fame. I would distant myself from that guy too if I were Obama.

When being in politics such 'lack of judgement ' of associating yourself with such a twisted character ... says a lot more ... much more < in my opinion> ... than to take the distance as a last measure because of the public's opinion pressure and it doesn't really in the end change the facts .... and people in general aren't really always that naïve.

His pastor is yesterday's news already. In the end, people want to know Obama's platform on issues, and his suggestions, and who he thinks should be his cabinet members, who he wants to surround himself with if he is the President. Obama is one smooth operator, of course, otherwise he couldn't come this far. If he has sound policies that would take the country back to the right path and has good foreign relations with the rest of the world, people would overlook his past association with his church pastor, and his relationship with his distance half brother in Africa, which people have already done so, there are much more important issues much larger than Obama's own family relationship. The voters would not hold Palin's daughter's pregnancy against her as well, those are personal family issues, none of the country's business. I am not sure about McCain, the fact he would pull out wild cards(he is trying to please the far right, Palin is anti women's rights to choose when it comes to unplanned pregnancy, she preaches abstinence as the form of birth control, and against sex education in public schools), which could japerdise the country.

" If he has sound policies that would take the country back to the right path " ... can you mention, in concrete, any of his agenda's " sound policies " ... that you personally consider to be of absolute substance .... besides plethoric rhetoric .... just out of curiosity and interest as well !
