Be pepare to help out for nothing and keep knocking at the doors you want.
A lewdghiens says that Steven Spielbeg,Made it as a film director by setting up an office in an empty room at Warner Brothers Studio, and making it look as thoough he was a professional
In order to make your ambitions come true you have to fight against setbacks and never take no for an answer as long as you have confidence in what your aims are and they are realiastic.
So keep banging on the doors of fashion, untill they burst open for you.Robert

Hi, can I suggest that first Robert needs to know who he wants do do work experience with!!! then collect some contacts for them either by checking on the net or by visiting a library that has copies of address books for the fashion industry such as LE BOOK. A good resource is the london fashion and textile museum http://www.ftmlondon.org/ which has its own learning resource centre. Do a day trpi and check out the new I-D exhib whilst your there. I have yet to see it, so I can't comment.

Thanks for you advise however he does look at Le Book however the advise about the fashion and textile museum looks promising so again thank you! I know that you have to network and go to exhibitions and meet people, but he attended many of the shows during fashion week and does not miss any of the fashion in motion catwalk shows at the V & A and regularly goes to exhibitions. I think some people find him weird (crucial part of being a genius) he also gets nervous I guess that is what makes him a real intellect because he is not arrogant about himself or his work (a rare quality in fashion) and liked by all his Ma fashion friends at LCF

CHEERS! Alun
