Question for SHOWstudio

I suddenly just wondered, with all the fantastic projects you do and with so much content month in month out would you ever consider producing some kind of a monthly magazine for us viewers?

It would be fantastic to be able to purchase from selected stores a hard copy of some of the finished projects we see online. i.e the imagery and interviews etc etc and judging by the size of the viewers list it would sell well? Perhaps some of the viewers might be lucky enough to see their comments published in as with the forum! It would be truly fantastic!

You are obviously a smart bunch and I know you wouldn’t have overlooked this so I can only assume there is a reason why you have decided to do so?

Am I missing the point of SHOWstudio?

it is good to see you on the Forum frequently.
In answer to your question, Yes a magazine is something we have all talked about and to some extent has been planned.The reason it has not happened yet is simply finance and time.
There are so many fantastic things that we want to do at SHOWstudio and a magazine is just one of them.
However if there are any publishing houses reading this who can see the potential then I would love to hear from you .We have the content you just need to provide the structure .

Thank you Nick. I am constantly learning so much from SHOWstudio and it continues to refine my taste as an image maker. It is great to here that a magazine may be in the pipe line and as far as I am concerned it can not come quickly enough.

I don’t know of a magazine that caters purely for my interests so find myself spending a fortune on various magazines each month to find cut-outs, ending up with what a dissected SHOWstudio magazine may look like!

Speaking as one of your audience it would make my life a lot easier to be able to pop in to a shop and pick those monthly cut-outs off the shelf in a single magazine. So I truly hope it happens.

Oh, and also any more thoughts on a book of the Dior campaigns? My bedroom is becoming a fire hazard with all these cut-outs!
