Hello everybody ! My name is Stéphanie, I'm French and I'm studying at the University of Sheffield for one semester. I have a course of linguistics about non verbal communication, and I have to do an essay about what I want. I've chosen the topic of "clothes". I have to do a cross-cultural comparative analysis and for that I have to question 10 English people about 10 points of non verbal communication. So I'm looking for anyone who would have kindness and time to answer 5 questions about 10 groups of people who dress with different clothes.

For each group of people I would like you to answer to the followings questions (you are not obliged to make sentences, you can just make a list of words! And it seems long but for some questions and groups of people there is not a lot to do, and sometimes maybe nothing):

1) What is your first feeling / reaction when you see people dressed like that ? How do you feel ?
2) What do you imagine about their personality, what would you say about who they are ?
3) What do you imagine about their way of life / hobbies / activites ?
4) What do you imagine about their social background / education / past,future / problems etc ?
5) What do you think they try to communicate with their clothes ? What is their "message" ?

And before answering I would like to know more about you, could you please tell me:
- your gender
- your age
- your city
- your profession
- your style (even if it is not one of the list of course)
