What you've said is how I feel I used to refresh the old forum and instantly you would now who's posted and when. I can't really be bothered to go through all the the subjects. I'm definitely a fan of simplicity! It does however look nice and having the personalised profiles is a good touch. I was surprised seeing how some people actually look I made assumptions on their appearance based on their posts!

I think the thing that was good about the old forum was the fact it was pretty fun just refreshing the page if you were on the internet would always reveal something new. I just think people can't be arsed to scroll through all the options, it's a real effort - it used to be a piece of piss!

I've never really looked at what other forums are like to be honest so maybe this isn't complicated in comparison. I would have guessed a forum is meant to be a bit of fun, I'm not sure it is any longer, that is unless you saw the supermodel show that Chris managed to produce a massive thread to all on his own!

To be honest though it's just a Forum, maybe it's had it's day. All I know is I'm getting a lot more work done when I'm in the studio than I used to, so thats a good thing.

Yes, participating in the forum area has become somewhat convoluted! I'm not so sure it's had its day; bring back the old format. I do quite like the colour-coding though which could be easily integrated I'm sure. I was searching for a particular post the other day and resorted to looking up my profile to access it. ANywho I'm hardly whining here, just thought I'd have my say.

A pity I missed the old format...I just joined 'SHOW" and it seemed interesting to be able to exchange ideas in Cyber Republic !....by the way interesting thought a .." museum of walking " ! ....the blue sounds great....If you check the website below, I just saw a chair looking like the base of a tree washed in gold, really cool ...that would look great as a center piece ....if gold is not objection...heheh.

this is another chris!yeah simplicity is genius bring back the old simple forum format please.its too complicated and quite often out of synch in terms of the latest timed post...you have to scroll down and look for things...but hey maybe that was the whole idea?to bury the forum.
