Monster Lolitas,.. Liberation of our Real Beauty by Halloween

How popular is Halloween in Europe?

I documented my friends' little girls (at the most "blossomed" stage of their puberty...)in their costumes. They were dressed and painted as monsters, but when I took the pictures they looked so beautiful.

Here are: Ghost of Marilyn Monroe, Giant Carrot, Dead Dorothy.

Isn't it worth pondering that when we don't have to LOOK beautiful, it's so liberating, it gives us some space for the real beauty to shine through...?

This liberation idea also gave rise to the growth of fetishes. Fetishes equal freedom. freedom means equality and therefore halloween creates equality for all. This is the concept on which democracy was created and hence halloween and fetishes are most popular in the US!

There are so many good looking people around who do not realise how good looking they are, some times the ones that do have an attitude that is unbearable that goes with the job.

in fact, it blew. mainstream dance parties are hideous. but tourists snuck in- past about 3 layers of security- and took pictures of me, so that was flattering.

In reply to st. valentine:

St Valentine, I could imagine the party in Palo Alto would "Suck so bad," as Trevor Beattie, the famous adman put it,-It could vacuume a carpet!". But your costume was good indeed!
