this is supossed to be written on a ordinary mail envelope. Someone told me "geben hier", but I'm not sure if this is accurate at all. other told me st about "senden" but still unsure...

please help!!!

I needed it for yesterday!

Thanks alot!!!!!

oh dear. this depends on what context you mean it. if it's the imperative (i.e. an order to send something to someone in particular) then you would say:

Schicken Sie bitte an + department/recipient's name (DATIVE)

sorry I lasted for so long to reply, I didnt even remembered the post...

In fact, it was for the print of my design studio stationery. After looking around in the web and dictionaries and more, I opted for:

/absenden an/

It is printed on stickers that go in every stationery piece that has to be send by ordinary mail. The idea was to "tell the postman":
"go and send this box/mail/whatever/ to the following address".
Its written in spanish, french, italian and german.

As long as the other languages use short forms (send to, inviare a, etc.) I thoght it was kind of correct. However, it is more an aesthetic joy, rather than a really functional thing, since (by now) I do not have german clients... I know this shouldn't be like that and that it is a risky thing in graphix design. Maybe in the future some german guy or someone who speaks german would say this is crap since it isnt the correct form...

I would be grateful for you to address me, and tell me if I did it right or not...

Thnaks anyway for the tip!!!

peace!
