Sorry we've been quiet.
Most likely, if you are having problems with the live stream, it's a firewall issue with your router. The firewall needs to have port 554 opened for traffic so that the video can be pulled from our servers.
We aren't able to advise on how to configure your router/firewall as there are so many models and they are all different : we simply don't know how to do it. You'll need to refer to the suppliers manual or speak to your ISP in this situation.
At points there are problems connecting to the video stream due to overloading of our servers by too many viewers. Unfortunately this is the nature of broadcasting via the internet and the unprecedented turnout has taken us by surprise.
We've also had a few people try to view the video stream over modems, and this also won't work. Streaming video and modems simply won't go. You need a broadband connection of at least 512Kbps (1/2Mb) to watch the video streams.
There are also some problems with lag in certain parts of the world. Our servers are located in Los Angeles, California, USA and London, UK. Depending on how far away you are from these places, and the quality of international internet links, you might find it hard to sustain the stream. If one server isn't working, try the other one.
