Shaw what I meant by a wide variation in the people was the fact that I was taking portraits of people visiting Fristral, not all of them are surfers, but a wide variation of culture and back grounds, showing of and possing on a very small stretch of beach.
This is the beach where a few years ago I bumped in to Bailey doing a shoot for Italian Vogue( I forgot my glasses) having met him a few week earlier and telling him how vibrent it was and still is at Fristral in the main season.

its really an american thing(twin palms) so im going to hoof it over there while theres some heat,and see what happens,and flog some more prints.
i like new york-things happen there for me.aperture wanted it first.i like the walcott,the chelsea,pictures from the gramercy park hotel at the end of my book,and its always nice in the "fall"but i suspect a bit too hot right now.
i hope you can be as adventurous with your artwork as you have been with your life...can you take creative risks?can you get on a plane with your portfollio?

Its quite funny realy I think that if I actualy met Mr Ben we would get on and quite like each other, its a strange thing how the net can cause so much miss interpritation and miss understanding. re interpritation etc.
