Hey Sebastion,

I'm not sure if any decision I make will be the right one. But I need to take a leap, make a move if you know what I mean. And I believe that regardless of socio-political climate creatives everywhere will find a way to express themselves. If I do make my way to London I may fall flat on my face, but at least I'll have tried. I think I'm going through a mid-twenties crisis (LOL), at this point I just wanna travel and take pictures and hang out and hopefully get paid doing one of the above. London just has this amazing vibe that I'm totally hip to...time will tell I guess. Cheers!

peace,
J.

ps~ totally off topic, but the Queen was just over here to celebrate my provinces 100th birthday...and my friends and I got to discussing....what is the Queen's last name? I mean, she has one right, but what is it? Just one of those silly things that get stuck in your head...

Maybe they don't have surnames.

I think the Queen Mother was originally a Bowes-Lyon who married a Windsor (King George VI no less), and Prince Philip is a Mountbatten - but I believe the current royal family take the surname Windsor.
Anyway - back to the topic (that is unless Charles is a budding fashion photographer) - an Australian fashion photographer whose work I really admire is a guy called Troyt Coburn. He is doing a lot of work for Vogue Australia amongst others - his work is very slick and I love his use of colour. www.troytcoburn.com

It was good to look at the work of Troy Coburn, there is a great sence of movement in his work with flowing gowns. I like his use of light as well as his great sence of compersition, some of the pictures look a bit to polished and tidy for me though, you are righ MartinB he is a good photographer to look out for.

On the royalty topic, does anyone remember a photo shown in The Face (i think), many many years ago, with a model styled as Princess Anne ? If yes, any idea who was the photographer ?

I like the layout of the website for the Sumo Brothers. Some of the pictures have a lot of humer, I think the fashion picts of women are a bit to polished though, Thanks Jimmy C Singapor.
Message to Pony have you seen the Diana portrait by Erwin Olaf, a great Dutch photographer
