Yawn.
This thread would be better suited to a personal blog Chris. I dont really think showstudio is the place to post personal experiences or cultural commentary on things that are not directly related to fashion.
Would it not be more relevant if you got an account at blogger.com or blogspot.com to post things like this?
Also Chris if you expect people to read your comments it would be easier if the text and spelling were cleaned up a bit, I personally find it hard to understand the spelling and in many cases the intent of the post.
I realise I have no control over what people say or do on this site and rightly so but I am losing interest in the site with level of communication and direction some people are trying to take this community effort towards.
Am i the only one who feels this way? Apologies if I am.

Well Chris, I don't post about my industry experiences because I would imagine nobody gives a shit, and plus I would sound like a cock waxing on about what I do, possibly in the same sense you do?

Hi Maikeru, I understand what you mean, but I've quite enjoyed Chris' posts most times and I'm not alone. What I find objectionable is other people endlessly trying to turn the forum into a version of Big Brother by attempting to 'evict' Chris (and others) just because what he(they) has to say doesn't tie in with what they think the forum should be about, is not in perfect alignment with their views on diddlyshit, or whatever. I really don't think Chris is lowest common demoninator, and if it's community effort you're really interested in, according Chris some space to express himself has to be an element, no?
And anyway, if it weren't for Chris and Ben biffing each other would I now be wondering what cock waxing actually sounds like? PODCAST NOW!

Actually Flux, I think you'll find that I get criticised for a large portion of my posts too. However I just find it fucking ridiculous and grating, the amount of rubbish that Chris goes on about. I mean who gives a shit if he went to Gay pride and wants to buy a pink flag? That drivel belongs somewhere else, perhaps in conversation with the naked 'lads' he's photographing and then 'experimenting' with in photoshop.
Flux, I really can't help but find you to be one of the most annoying people on this forum. You really are such a housewife as William previosuly pointed out. I've been waiting over a year now for you to prove me wrong, yet you never do.
From Ben Morris, 15:51 Mon 03 Jul 2006 | Profile +++++ | 442 posts
Ben, there's no need to drag in any backup, your own opinion is fine. As for being annoying, I'm flattered you should have had such high expectations of me but I don't come here to prove or disprove anything to anyone so your disappointment is your own problem. And, likewise, I'm sure. Anyway, who are you to judge the standard of input on this forum? Even if I were the only person to enjoy Chris' posts (and I don't think I am) I'd much rather read them than other people's attempts to shout him down. So, in answer to your question, "who gives a shit if he went to Gay pride and wants to buy a pink flag?" well, I suppose I do. And? Why the fuck not?
Oh, and in what way is cock waxing less grating than pink flags? Just curious...

Thats very interesting, maybe you and Sebastian could frequent another place too, where simpletons from the provences such as yourselves can discuss the merits of pink flags, striped sailor T-shirts and white jeans and also the merits of County Durham and Plymouth as 'creative hubs' for such fantastic artists such as yourselves.
It's so fucking hot here that I can't be arsed to carry this on with you Lucy, though I'm sure when it cools down we'll no doubt go at it again.
Loathe and kisses
(P.S I would presume a pink flag would cost around a pound). x

Oh shame, I was just getting warmed up. But I doubt we'll ever 'go at it' not matter how hot you are!

(P.S. Geography note - Yorkshire isn't a suburb of either London or Paris. Personal note - I may be based in Co Durham at the moment but that's not where I come from. So don't try playing the provincial card with me.)

There's where you come from, and where you're at. I'm proud to be from Yorkshire, flower, though I moved to achieve creative goals many years ago. Putting 'europe' on your profile however doesn't disguise the fact that you aren't intercontinental, and do live in Durham.
No we wouldn't go at it, you're too old and from your picture, not my type in the slightest.
Anyway, like I said it's too hot for this I'm off to join Seabastian by the sea in Portsmouth or wherever it is. I'm sure you do come from somewhere interesting Lucy, perhaps you should have hung around, some of it might have rubbed off on you.

Some people are born old farts though, chuck, no matter where they come from or where they end up. And Europe is a state of mind.
Anyway, don't forget your sailor Tee and your Speedos then, and please say hi to Chris for me (take him a pink flag, I think he'd appreciate the gesture, don't you?).
