"Under Construction
Wednesday 20th to Friday 30th September
Opening Party: Friday 23rd September
Make your mark on a giant map of London, courtesy of Us and Us (designers Mary Rose Cook, David Cameron, Zoe Stanton and Toby Hadden). Have your say about what kind of buildings and amenities would improve city life, as well as sharing your thoughts on favourite buildings, haunts, spaces and places - and on your least favourite. The designers will be on hand to help you make your mark with a kit of cardboard, pipe cleaners, plasticine, stickers, and wire - in the best Blue Peter tradition - as well as brewing you the requisite cup of builder’s tea. Be as ambitious or simple as you like, just so long as you get your point across. Will the public?s view of architecture in our city be the same as the people who are mapping out the future of our city? Will an alternative ‘secret’ London appear? The final map of London will be photographed and sent to all who participate.
Venue: The Architecture Foundation’s Yard Gallery, 49 Old Street, London EC1V 9HX

This exhibition is part of Design Rabbit, a series of independent and free design events taking place during the London Design Festival organised by design curators Scarlet Projects.
Design Rabbit aims to create interesting and unusual ways of presenting and disseminating design, provoking discussion and debate. Its prime motive is to get people together to think and talk about design, to showcase new ideas, and simply to be a part of something that’s engaging and enjoyable and may question or inspire.
Design Rabbit is based in and around Clerkenwell and Shoreditch, the ‘hub’ of creative London and home to the majority of London’s design community. We hope it will contribute to a much greater sense of ‘festival’, where many individual and unexpected things are happening, taking advantage of the different buildings, businesses and spaces around the area, and giving people the opportunity to enjoy ‘bite-size’ design experiences to fit around their work and play schedule."
It doesn't say anywhere that people with borderline personality disorder can't participate, so why not go along?
bye bye!
