Kate Moss is the ultimate reality show in the UK, as of now.

.. and in the new state of the art in the matters of popular culture ... the reality show, arguably, is the single most important symbol of POPULAR CULTURE ... as I see it... and the beauty of it is that it happens to be a mirror of the human race's imperfections and insecurities .... and like in ancient mythology.... tragedy ... constitutes a part of the weaving in the fabric of the.... myth .... and can anyone remember of any of our most influential, admired, inspiring ICONS where tragedy didn't manifest itself ? :):)

I think there's no such thing as trash culture, in the long run, looking back, everything would just be the part of the fabric of a culture. I think when we see trash and tackiness in pop culture, it is just one of the indication of the openness of a society, when everything and anything can be found and has a place in society, and it's not being suppressed and deliberately beautified.

....I believe that indeed that is the key to ' it '.....' deliberately beautified ' , very arguably for the wrong reasons, but somehow all inter-linked or let's say interweaved with how we progress in space and time, change or reinterpret our views in the matters of ...... what is called .... popular culture.... What was not acceptable before becomes acceptable now ... glamourised and romanticised to certain extent ....... what once was called tackiness can now view as super-cool .....etc ... etc... but who is actually doing or transforming the thinking for us ? ... guess twice ...LOL!.....Having said that my perception is that... popular culture... has in a way become far more complex because we seem to have opened a kind of Pandora's Box nowadays ...... and FASHION in my personal opinion is very much part of it ... and FASHION as in .... confronting people with their very own image in the mirror ... at first the outer layer .... and then somehow taking it deeper to the inner lot less visible layer .... , we seem to have now more time available to stop in front of that ' mirror ' and more willing to be convinced and accept what is offered to us, whether right or wrong , we give in a lot more easily ..... kind of difficult to explain somehow ....
