Thanks for the contribution !...they are totally ...totally.....cool !..... aesthetically well balanced...and very energetic...I like these ones in particular....perhaps the future of Fashion Illustration ? with the ongoing pursuit for perfection it may well turn out to look just ike this..........'Homo sapiens-superne' ....the next evolution............... the ' superhumans' ......:)

Glad you liked it! Yes, I personally think that the videogames illustrators could be the future of fashion illustration. They work at an amazing high-definition detail level. Check out Ayami Kojima´s work too! She works for Konami, and she is the illustrator of Castlevania (one of my favourite videogame sagas).

Read ya later!

....Castlevania: Symphony of the Night ( part of the ongoing series) ...... I love the title !......anyway.... I was intrigued about the process how she brings her characters to life.....marrying the art of illustrations with computer games......the process is just......awesome and painstaking !!..... there's somehow a kind of ongoing 'invisible' poetry in it ( taking the commercial aspect aside ).......

I like this illustration in particular......and the text besides it.........:):)

' If you were offered the opportunity of embarking in a life of "complete happiness" would you comply and if so what would you give up? .....Your freedom or perhaps your soul? '

As I personally believe .... ' Art is what you make of it because after all ....it's all about .....the ' HUMAN ETHOS ' ........

In reply to Galileo's Universe:

Here some of the titles of the rest of the saga:
-Aria of Sorrow
-Harmony of dissonance
-Rondo of blood
-Lament of Innocence
-Dawn of Sorrow
-Curse of Darkness

In Japan Castlevania titled is AKUMAJOU DRACULA.

I believe in videogames as XXI century art. And I hope they will influence fashion world soon...

.........VIVIENNE WESTWOOD...........

I have always greatly enjoyed her spirit, creativity and personality as a great source of inspiration.....and I cannot let it go at this delightful interview ( 26 SEPTEMBER 2007 ) !!!.....as always she never ceases to irradiate the right energy....!

'PEOPLE MUST STOP BUYING AND BUYING'
26/09/2007

' The former schoolteacher believes that there is a pervading lack of effort in modern life. To repel our complacency, she recently launched her "manifesto" to encourage young people to take a greater interest in art, books and culture

"It started as a fashion project. I was thinking about what to put on these T-shirts and it got me thinking about what I really want to say to young people."

With palpable impatience and typical overstatement, she says: "People just don't think any more. That's why we have no culture."

She doesn't read contemporary fiction, preferring the challenges of Proust and Aristotle. Modern art is rubbish, too, she thinks. Even Tracey Emin, though rarely photographed in anything other than Westwood's designs, comes in for some stick. "She's a stylish, talented woman. But what she does is not art, it's self-promotion. I feel very sorry because I do like her as a person. I can't pretend. I have to say what I think."

She certainly does. But the Queen of British fashion has our best interests at heart. She wants us to make the best of ourselves: read more books, see more plays and of course, wear better clothes. Who could argue with that?....'
