From Shakespeare to The Smiths, Wittgenstein to Warhol
At the week end I took pictures of a new boy band called code 5.
The members are Jose 24, Mitch 18, Dean 21, CJ 18, and Jamie 17.
One of the band members was missing after getting a throat infection, it was hoped that he could make the shoot for the BBC on Monday as mentioned below.
The band has been touring with West Life on the Love tour after being seen by Louise Walsh just weeks after forming.
At the moment the band are sharing a house together whilst recording a series for the BBC T.V. Show living With the Enemy which goes on air in July.
Code 5 where formed after 17 open auditions across the UK and listening to about 1,600 male artists, five of the best where chosen.
During the gig on Saturday the band sang a great rendition of the songs by Lionel Ritchie hello.
I will post the pictures of them here by the end of the week.
There new single is due to be released in August and there new web site was launched on 3rd June this week www.code5.com.

The program playing with the enemy that was shown on BBC3 10pm Sunday evening was a great insight in to mixing of culture and lifestyles, Code7 where forced to confront there own issues and open up after spending a week in London sharing a House full of punk rockers and working with them to produce a record.
Who is Theo,17 gay and a crazy expressive possibly destructive but very talented guy, and he should be used in these fashion magazines, outrageous but very talented.I would love to do a photo shoot with him.
I think that the experience has been good for Code5 and might open them up to deaper creative talent rather than looking and sounding like a typical boy band.
Good luck to them and it will be interesting to see where they take there music directions to now.Keep an eye and both ears open for Code5
