Best way to sell art

Outside of hanging in galleries, what's the most lacrative way to sell abstract art in St.Louis? Mix-media acrylic on hard board. Tried Designers, Architechural fims, art brokers, Docents, website. Want local sales without having to shipping.

Take photographs of your art, put in a portfolio, make appointments with art buyers/send e-mails to relevant people with jpegs attached etc....

Or make a little stall and sell it on the street like American kids do with lemonade.

In a way that would be way quite cool.

Or make a little stall and sell it on the street like American kids do in Brooklyn.

I think it would be better to sell *your autograph* in the amount of the artwork, on a piece of napkin, framed and matted. and then include the artwork for free along with the purchase.

People love free sh*t.

that reminds me of Jean Michel Basquiat selling postcard drawings/paintings to Andy Warhol in a cafe which he following him into.
