"Selfish Cunt" is a music group, punk style. I also didn´t like what they made with Tilda´s dress, and I also don´t understand the reason of destroying it and write obscene absurd graffitis. That´s very boring and unimaginative in my opinion. We aren´t in the 70s with Sid Vicious, we´re in 2005! I´d love to see anything new!

I shot selfish cunt a few years ago, when they were first starting as a band and Martin lived in this amazing artist commune in Dalston. He was however still at that time a model at an old agency called Assasin which is now defunct.

I Googled them and realized they were a punk band, I just liked the header 'Who are Selfish Cunt?'.

I was also just looking for an excuse to use the word 'unflappable'.

I was only shocked for a minute, then I thought they were just trying to cause as much agitation as possible, which I kind of respect in a conceptual way. Though saying things like Britian is Shit and Race War right after the bombings is pretty f*%#ing horrid. Is it just me?

Well, what do you expect from a group with a name like this? It's 'telegraphed' in advance isn't it? And though not 70's, we have grown up post-Pistols so...

... the opportunity to really, truely astonish everybody - by staying and seeing their shoot through, rather than bogging off as they did - was an opportunity missed. No shock content and no surprises either then. Boring...

You know what the deal is with Selfish Cunt. The music is abismal, I've seen them live unfortunately and people were throwing bottles at them they were so disregarded, however it's a big tossy east london thing isn't it. Art students with ropey hair cuts love that sort of thing, especially as they get to tell their parents they are listening to a band with 'cunt' in the name. It's another ridiculous Dazed and Confused/Hoxton/The foundry gag, and I wish people like SHOWstudio would stop encouraging this kind of rubbish, I mean good greif...

I like it... funnily enough, i did an internship in London 4 years ago, went to a Kings Of Convenience consert, as i know Erlend Øye from Bergen, and Martin and a ginger mullet bearing dandy came over to us, and brought us to Trash. Since that i´ve seen both Martin and the other guy in "trendy" mags- and been very amused. They were both actually really sweet, yet quite artsy fartsy and theatrical...Martin is stunning though- what a face! Do you know if there is any conserts, or where i might bump into him? Would be funny to see him again!

Yes honey, I reckon if you pop into the Bethnal Green working mens club any Friday night he'll be there, and possibly the griffin in leonard St. before that. I think they do lots of 'impromptu' gigs there.
