So in the space of a week I have seen Chan Marshall,Antony Hegarty and met Liz Fraser and now have an odd feeling of spinning that is partly due to seeing some of my all time favorites in music and partly due to Turning, Antonys' beautiful show that was presented last night at the Barbican.Working with Charles Atlas he has created a truely moving piece that works with beauty on many different levels.Pure pleasure for me.
I would love to hear what anyone else who has seen the show thought.

the women who 'turned' for Antony were friends of his from New York. I thought they were great ,and I got all inspired to badger Vogue into letting me do a story with more curvaceous women again,after seeing the model in the sheer lace dress,who sat at Antonys' feet at the end.
Anyway Antonys' voice was awesome and I thought he made a rather beautiful vision standing glowing in the ultra violet light.
In all I very much appreciated the show combining the visuals ,the music and the live preformance,which as you may suspect from SHOWstudio is where my interests lie.All they needed was to allow an interenet audiance to download live clips onto their mobile phones and interact to modify the visuals ,but that's a different story.
It is a shame I didn't know you were there I'd have liked to say Hello.I keep thinking about how to have a SHOWstudio event that physically brings the forum contribitors together,any thoughts?
Oh my, if that actually happened we'd get to see who some regular forum users REALLY are..(valentine?). It would be interesting to see if they are at all similar to their online presence or not. Either that, or the status quo would remain the same as online between some 'forum-foes' which perhaps could easily be rectified by mud-wrestling which in turn would be broadcast online. Nick- you'd have to be the referee. Perhaps it could be forum-foe against forum-foe or clothing label against clothing label. My money would be on whoever would be in McQueen- I bet that'd be a dirty fight.
I'm envious; that would be an interesting event (to be physically present at!). Perhaps a Bal Masqué for viewers? That looked amazing; I was quite stressed at the time of the event and got a lot of therapy by way of laughter and entertainment by clicking on the confession recordings. Nick, how might you include the offshore contingent? An obvious question yes but I'll have a think anyway . . .

Razor-sharp as usual. Well, I guess I meant that in the literal sense yes; however, I did say 'perhaps.' Oooh that's great. Hope you sell some stuff. What's the work like? Mm, I've pretty much wound down for the year (school's almost over). I'm getting into this creative monk rationale though. All that needs changing is scale and income and I'm done - just like bloody Amazon. Obscure perhaps but it all makes perfect sense to me. How have your other forum buddies been?
