Now, Valentine. If you're going to dole out such a personal attack, I think it's high time you told us something about yourself.

Ah, the age old problem of all the world being a critic and only the very few being the creators.
SUPERSUPER is something new and something with an ideal, they are pretty defined about this from what I hear, so I guess that leaves them open to attack but personally I think its nice to see something fresh, creative and honest about what its doing. And I feel there is a sense of them standing up for what they believe in involved. Something coarsely lacking in many publications, and at the end of the day its always better to say, 'look at what i'm doing and why', as opposed to standing outside others work and poking fun.

i think youre really right william, supersuper is a great magazine - there's really something for everybody. and it doesnt seem to take itself too seriously either, which is quite refreshing...

Are you the Fashion Sub Editor at Large of Supersuper then Rebeccah? Or just an intern?

And who actually gives a shit if someone has something negative to say. I thought this forum was a platform for discussion, not everyone needs to share the same opinion.

I'm aware that I tend to voice my opinions in an agressive way, but it pisses me off that you can't say anything negative on here without people flying off the handle. I remember similar sitations during the 'Moving Fashion' project. Ben Morris left some mildly critical messages about film submissions, and in return everyone became crazed at him. There is no harm in criticism and this industry is riddled with bitches, so get over it Rebeccah.

My original point in the whole Supersuper discussion, was that it's quite a funny publication, but that's about it. There seems to be no substance, and im my opinion, no longevity. Wowow was fun, and mildly exciting when it started. But it gets a boring watching the same group of people running around, publishing photos of themselves reenacting scenes from Michael Alig's life. It's also clear that Gareth Pugh is a talented designer, but I think Susannah Frankel was right to describe his creations as costume, not fashion. In my opinion he should give it a rest with the heavy Leigh Bowery referencing. But at the end of the day Rebeccah, these are just my opinions, so there no real need to get in a shit.
