Just checked out the latest issue of Pop magazine, its still very good with very creative photography, but I think that it has lost a touch since the first three issues.
In the portraits there is a great play with colour, painting with lights in a studio setting.
Keep with it gang its a great magazine, and still the main link with the classic Face magazine, that first set the standards at this level for pop art.

I don't think Pop is up to much, it's quite boring. It hardly compares to Another magazine. Everything seems so obsessed with the 1990s at the moment, it's so trashy. I-D is looking quite trashy too. And as for Supersuper, that magazine would look more at home on a shelf in Lidl rather than Borders.

Never heard of Super super, I will have to try and see a copy, not seen it in Smiths.
Talking Pop art does anyone remember the high camp pop art of Dougie Fields, painting that are bright, mininimal and high camp cheack, he has a websit so maby you would like to chck him out, it would be nice to see his work, which seems to be based around fashion lifestyle being re published in lifestyle magazines.

As for Pop magazine I prefer the three earler edtions rto the later ones, I like the colour portraits in the latest one though.
As mentioned before I am wondering what is holding the creativity of magazines back at the moment, somethings seems to be?

Give it a fucking rest!!!!

WHy don't you get of your arse, stop posting in fucking forums every fucking minute of the day and go and take some photos that you think are fucking better!!!

Fuck!! It just gets too much!!! I refuse to apologise for this post as well, so don't get all soft on me.

Everyone is so fucking critical of everyone else work, which is a great big fucking brave thing to do from your comfy arm chair! Get A life!!!!!!

That Pop magazine is aaaammmmaaaaaaazing. Mert & Marcus stuff...if you can't call that creative then there is seriously something wrong with you. It's mind blowing! Michael Jansons stuff is mind blowing also, the editorial is great even the fucking ads are amazing.

JUST SHUT UP!!!!!! If you think you can do better then go and do it!!!!!!!
