Just checked out the new magazine from the Dazed and Confused stable called Another Man, Winter Spring edition I think, 2k5
The art work and photography is very good, not a lot diffrence from Pop magazine.
Arena U home,Winter and Spring is the magazxine I will be buying great photography and inspirational art work.
I think that the new Another Man magazine needs to find its own identity yet other wise it is very good, spoilt for choce beween the three UK. Mens magazines, what out Internationaly.

there are so many more man magazines coming out, competition is getting more tougher. Another Man magazine does not have the extra selling point against the others and as you say, definately needs to stand out from the others more

Checked out yet again the new magazine called Wonder Land, I am sorry to saty that I dont think it has the edge that Another Mag Arena hommo and Pop have, the the comtetition will be very healthy as I dont think that there is room for all of them unless they become more creative in some cases and challenging.
Look what happened to a boundary pushing magazine called the Face ( what a shame to loose it)
It would be great if some of these Magazines look at culture and lifestyles across the world, I love the new addition of Arena Homme for that reason based in Milan the photography is classic with a great play on lights and natural shaddow at one with the world.
In Another Magazuine shotts of guys in Africa would have been a lot better for me if the black and white shots where less grainey and sharper instead of being shot through a long lens like the photo poachers of Africa. Otherwise great locations with moody models and semi wild catas look good.
To me fashion photography has got to be inspirational to make me look at the picture, I have to think, I wish that I had been there and taken that beautifull picture, otherwise it does not work for me.
Part of the problem I think that this is not the case of a lot of photographers in this area as you can see by the fashion shots in studios for a lot of the magazines/
Nick Nights work on this site is very interesting mixing fashion with models and other textures shapes and forms, even tearing the images in one way or another in some cases.
