the bitter tears of petra von kant,or my favourite,FOX AND HIS FRIENDS i love this- its possitiveley hogarthian a sorta alternative rakes progress,strong working class,strong women.absoluteley iconic....with him dying in the u-bahn/tube station at the end,anybody else on the forum like his films?

the thing that comes through in fox and his friends and in a lot of his films....i speak in the present tense,because all great creativity always seems to have this timelesss imidiacy-it grabs you around the throat...is about the relationships in his films the fact that gay relationships are revealed to be not that different from straight about emotional and financial exploitation,about self-oppression....and then sometimes you see a glimmer of hope.
