Having checked out the website you have mentioned Flux, I think the work of Sean Santos is great, using a wider shot technique looking at great moods in shadow and lighting, it work very well, I presume he is getting some great work in magazines, At the moment a lot of fashion magazines seem to be doing a lot of there fashion shoots in studios either using white backdrops or black, not showing a lot of imagination in there shoots which I am afraid does not sell clothes very well, maby they are trying to ccnsentrate solely on the clothes, but I dont think it works.
going of on a slight tangent, I have just seem the launch of the new fashion magazine called WonderLand, I am sorry to say that I personely dont think that the consept works and can not compete at the top level with magazines like i-d or Dazed and Confused or Pop unless it has a more creative approach to the images and layout.
