Creative, conceptual and technical; contemporary and historicalAnybody seen them yet? In the National Portrait Gallery in London, correct? Any thoughts? The portraits aren't really about fashion anymore-she is a pop icon of our time.
'The Face of Fashion'-about fashion photography not just of Kate but many others. It really only came to my attention because of all the coverage on the internet regarding the commissioned portrait by Corinne Day of Kate Moss for this exhibition. Just to show how influential Kate Moss is to the British art and fashion scene. Without her participation, people who are not in the UK, wouldn't have paid the same amount of attention to it.
.......simply the right face to illustrate the right time......the right place....
How long is a right time's span? She has been in the hot news for over a year and a half-that's a long run as far as fasion season goes....

.......measurements in time do not play a part ever as consideration........but...relevance and validity does until otherwise ...............the beauty is that it all fits perfectly in place and time....the right 'length' of time.........ever thrown the dices and tell them what you want ?......:):):)....you can never force things to happen.........it just happens.....logic is hardly part of it....just be happy for her ! :):):)

Dont forget the face of fashion exhibition in London at the moment I think that I mentioned that it was at the National Portrait Gallery in conjunction with a book being published.
I went to NPG the day before the exhibition opened to the public and managed to catch a glimpse of the corinne day portraits of kate moss. Annoyed that i didn't get to see the rest and now i'm home in Liverpool.
