Hello All,

I'm primarily a Fine Art Photographer represented by 5 galleries in the U.S - New York, New Orleans, Santa Fe, Scottsdale Arizona and Astoria Oregon.
I moved back to U.K recently and living in Manchester, after being in the U.S for 16 years.
I would like to find a Photo Rep in London and a contemporary gallery.
I am currently exhibiting with LondonArt online gallery: http://www.londonart.co.uk/petekelly/

My website: http://www.petekelly.com/

Any feedback would be great, thanks.

I like your work, but why did you come back to the UK? I thought that the art market was in New York Pete, good luck.

In reply to Chris Summerfield:

This is true, I still supply the galleries with work from here and go to the U.S for assignments, such as shooting cityscapes/lifestyle for a new Bloomingdales store in San Francisco.
I came back for family reasons and have since realised the Art market is drastically smaller when it comes to Photography. I have been looking for a gallery in London, but can only find galleries who exhibit traditional paintings or classic b & w photography by established artists.
I think there is a market for a contemporary gallery space which sells sculpture, paintings and photography by emerging artists in a relaxed atmosphere, like they have all over the U.S.

Thanks for the reply my friend and I am glad that you are still doing well State side.
I have been getting very good feedback on my work from gallerys in the Uk as well as magazines.
The gallerys as mentioned by you, will not touch you unless you are recognised and have a market following over here, so it makes a very slow process of creating a supply and demand behind your work.
Uless you are lucky and can get in with a gallery owner. I would like to see my work move in America even though I do have issues with the politics at the moment.
The gallery space you talk about, maby it could be another step for the studio sometime in the future.? Good luck.
PS Where does the name Pistol Pete come from, anything to do with carying a big weapon,? (Joke)

Just checked your website, and I like the style to your pictures and abstract work, giving a soft painterly effect to your identity and work.
The horse racing shots are classic.
