Over many years since 1994 I have been taking a series of pictures for a book I aim to produce called Fristral and Beyond. It will be a black and white photography coffee table book, aimed possibly at the international market.
Fristral beach is Britains main commercial surf beach, based in Newquay Cornwall, it atracts a lot of well known people from Australian soap stars, to photographers, and celebrity cooks?.
The pictures I have taken where shot in other areas of Devon and Cornwall as well as Fristral, over the years, hens the name Fristral And Beyond.
I am looking for a book publisher to help get this project moving.

Four pictures from the series Fristral and Beyond as pictures scans.
The top, one was taken in 1994 of a guy called Barry Doyle, he was a student at Plymouth college of art and design and specialised in T.V Media before re locating to London.
The picture was taken using a nokona 35 mm under water camera with flash , with black and white film. It was then hand tinted in blue dye and then digitised
This picturev of Edward was taken in Plyumouth last year, Edward is part of Plymouths Gothic group, a lot of the goths hang around the City Centre on a Saturday.

I was told quite a while ago that there was no inspiration for taking pictures in Devon and Cornwall. As well as the diverse culture, there is a great landscape to be captured with miles of woods, rivers, quiet beaches, as well as moorland.
There is a lot to capture down here, but as mentioned it takes a lot longer to get established away from London,
I hope that my pictures do the talking.

The small selection of images you have on this site says so much more about your work than the ones on your website. Over the past year people have been making comments about your work as I'm sure you're aware (!!!). I feel because with the website it's quite a simple a case of too much on there. If you have great quality images grouped in with not so good they get over looked. What you have put on your profile here is refreshing and I feel that with your website you would benefit so much more if you reduced it to a select few of your most recent work. I think that after years of fussy flashy websites people are starting to turn off and want to see simple easy to navigate websites. You may surprise a few people!

Thanks for the feedback and I agree I have mentioned before that I have not been able to axess the website in order to work on it for 18 months, and I agree very much with what you say Bina.
I will post another set of pics of Plymouth goths over the next few days as a series I am also working on. All the best and thanks.

I agree with bina, Chris. Seeing some of your pictures on websites designed by other people - first at Saatchi, now here - is a complete contrast to your own site. Presentation is important (but I told you that ages and ages ago!)

I like the breakdancer on thew beach pic BTW
