Thanks. The print with the buildings and smoke(black and white)works really well with handbags and tank tops, I think architectural print design works well with most fashion silhouettes, there's something very pop art about it.

REF> PIC: jeannelanvin.blogspot.com - ALBERT ELBAZ for LANVIN

Being a great fan of FASHION ILLUSTRATION I thought perhaps it would be a nice idea to spice up a little bit this thread and see if more artists will contribute to post their master pieces in the field and encourage them for more FASHION ILLUSTRATIONS, so perhaps it would be a nice idea to post fashion illustrations of today's well known fashion designers, starting with Albert Elbaz for LANVIN the oldest couture label that still is around today .... just as an incentive to all and a bit of wishful thinking of course ) :):)

Christian LACROIX

While carefully observing at different styles, approaches and techniques in the art of FASHION ILLUSTRATION I have found that, arguably, the most interesting aspect is being able to succeed in translating the ESSENCE of the style ... to illustrate that La CROIX comes to my mind... enjoy it !

I have always liked Lacroix's sketches. They are whimsical and fun. I while in college was obsessed with Antonio Lopez's style and tried to do some sketches in his style.
