One of the most versatile models Kate Moss is on the cover. To me, this is one of the dullest covers ever, even for US Vogue standard.

i have never been to america and dont really have any desire to either,(i tried watching ramseys kitchen nightmares usa and it made me so annoyed) but are they stuck in like a 1990s fashion/life. that is the most horrific picture thats not ageless beauty thats ageing beauty makes me sick.

it makes me wonder how the photographer can pull off such substandards and still make it for the cover.

Agreed.

None of that works for me. A combination of bad styling of Kate's clothes and really poor layout composition.

I'm actually quite taken aback when I look at this. Not good for an international renowned magazine like Vogue. I wonder if the content makes up for it. I shall have to pop into a book store tomorrow.

What does anyone else think about it?

Oh my God! That isn't dull its abysmal.
Who is responsible for that? The photographer should have their license revoked.

That is not Kate Moss.

Kate's inside photos are not well done creatively either, in fact, hers are the most boring looking among the group of women's featured in the "Age Issue". The Vogue Cover is looking more and more like other celebrity tabloid papers, with so many tag lines in different sizes and colors.

Uhm??... besides the old fashion styling issue ... hardly anyone in Kate's age category would want to look like a 1950's or so look alike ... and then we have the wrong model to portray an ageless lady ... I think Cher would be a better and a more realistic candidate !
Not even the intended illusion makes any sense ! ... perhaps they had one glass of champagne to much while deliberating about the cover ..:):):)
Absolutely Fabulous comes to my mind .... lol....!

..... and AGELESS depends on how kind NATURE is willing to be .... otherwise the make up artist is the only ' infalable ' first aid to help humans look their best ! .... no one escapes NATURE'S wisdom in the matters of human's intolerant vanity .... :):)

I think it's Kate's attitude that made Vogue chose her, she would be vivacious at 75. It's not really the wrinkles or lack of that defines a person's beauty and age. I just don't get why Vogue didn't let Kate style herself since her style is so well known, it's a pity to not shoot Kate as how she would style herself, for the US Vogue issue. The inside editorial photos of Kate were just as bad or even more boring than the cover, someone mentioned on another website that they thought she looked like a Burberry model, not like herself. If Vogue wanted to do a portrait of Kate as herself, I feel they shouldn't have done such a drastic makeover and changed her into some persona that's unrecognizable.
