Does anybody know the name of the spring-summer 2007 Alexander McQueen show? Probably one of the most endearing moments in fashion history...raw and provocative as usual.

here's a video from youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fb0CYer_isc

ps: is there any other video footage of "joan"- fall/winter 1998 available online other than what is available in mcqueen's showstudio archive?

thanks,
Matt.

my friend alex answered me! (so i'll include his reply for everybody...)

"as far as I'm aware, spring 1997 was called 'les poupees belmer' (belmer's poupees, obviously) as the outfits were based on dolls. for example, the cage-like structure that manacled debra shaw was intended to mimic the jerky movements of a marionette."

Wasn't Matt asking about 2007 rather than 1997? The current S/S was called Sarabande and was inspired by Barry Lyndon, Goya portraits, the Marchesa Luisa Casati, Mexican dress and garden flowers. It's the one with all the extreme hip sculpturing and the dress made entirely from flowers.
