Hi everyone,

Could you drop your eyes on my portfolio and feedback me?
Do you like my work (Photography/video)? Feel free to speak: negative or positive.

Very appreciated and thank you.

Wim

I like most of your SHOWstudio portfolio work. Not ever so keen on the red hair photo. Personal preference. It is the apparent colour manipulation. I however very much like the FUNKY DISCO photo. Very cool. On another note your website is confusing to me. The navigation needs reworking, in my opinion. Lots of things everywhere removes focus on the image.

Keep up the good work.

Josh :P

"Fuck that Vogue" is the strongest one to me, seems the most unforced, sophisticated and the composition and the attitude and the shock of purple very trashy chic. The lighting and everything just worked.

Very appreciated. It reminded me of last Vice, and Vogue (not that I intend to link those with my work). my latest (not updated) work also goes that way. I've been manipulation scene, pose and fake atmospheres way too long and consider reality (well the sense of it anyway) a perfect base for next works.
Love!

.......the only thing that somehow seems to stick in my mind is that there is a lot of emphasis in the outer-layers...aesthetics...I do like the spirit...indeed very funky....

I wonder what would happen if you play a lot more with the light in some of the pics...?.......again I'm thinking intuitive....but I do like your work....except for the red hair simply because the technique takes over the image....but it could work if done less forceful......I think.....

Wish you all the best !

Yes I like your work also, but am not to sure of the red hair either does not work for me. The thing about studio work is that it is hard to look differrrent to anyone else and have an I-D of your own, look at Nick Knights work its about pushing ideas and using the body clothes etc as another expression of art.
Good work though keep developing your style and ideas.
The guys in the shower look fun.?
I lived in Belgium for three years from 1984 onwards and loved the City and its bohemian lifestyle.

Thank you for reacting to this. I do see what you mean with the red haired image. The Photoshop manipulation takes over in stead of the model. Normally I never do something like that, even for me it's considered not done, too much manipulation: Yet again, the model was very into PS, very into digital gadgets and was known through internet only. I considered it to be somewhat correct (conceptually based) to add a very impactfull edit through manipulation.
I could do this more subtile. Would be better, true.
Thanks, love!
