i suppose it depends on your definition of inspiring... on a purely design level, usually i find people i know to be more inspiring than models. knowing a personality that well makes my mind swim with ideas on how to clothe them. plus i find knowing someone really affects how beautiful they appear to be aesthetically.

Actually lately I don't find any new faces interesting, is it because the work out there are not interesting or the girls are looking all alike? Or the poses? I find myself flipping through magazine pages without stopping, like there's no single image that captures my eyes. Is it because everyone tries to out do the others and if all images are extremely creative and crazy and edgy, then they all just look no different? I would love to see the sensitive black and white, beautiful, simple picture of a simple looking girl. I hardly see those anymore, and those images often are the most haunting and stay in your mind for a long time.
