Fantastic! I'll be watching the stream for sure!

From the outset, SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution was intended to be much more than just a retrospective. With that in mind, our latest shoot in the Live Studio space is a SHOWstudio first - the first time we have streamed one of Nick Knight's shoots for British Vogue. Naturally, this is a shoot with a difference - based around the theme of 'Fairytale', today and tomorrow Nick will shoot Russian supermodelka Natalia Vodianova in an array of custom gowns specially designed by the leading lights of international fashion in aid of her charity, The Naked Heart Foundation. We are broadcasting all the action live from Somerset House on SHOWstudio.com - or why not hot-foot it down to the exhibition in person and see a piece of fashion history unfold before your very eyes?

Well lets hope that Nick has sorted out more cameras to achieve the ethos that has so sadly been lacking lately. A camera directed on the monitor would be nice, a camera behind the model ie: her view, and of course a decent camera showing Nicks view...ideally all in split screen to choose which one the viewer wishes to focus on...Oh, and a full archive if we miss it, not just some 3 min self obsessed rubbish that "shows" nothing except limited editing skills. Maybe alot to ask, but the whole live shoot thing has been very poor recently, its time to step it up Nick, if an interactive shoot is what you really want, and not just a long shot from a poorly angled single camera...And get the 10x8 out for the geeks!! Always an admirer.Richard

Oh do they do these things to order now? Didn't realise. Maybe you can get Terry Wogan down to do commentary too, and the team from Strictly to do dance interludes in the quiet moments?

The whole idea of ShowStudio is interaction between Nick and "us", including our wishes for the site and the shoots etc etc...
If you wish to dumbly sit and blindly stare, never interacting, never offering constructive critisism from a side that Nick could never see, then carry on...
I prefer to be an active part of this process, at least from this side of the fence.
I havent asked for specific images to order, just decent coverage of live shoots for a change. Comments that have actually been invited from the current survey. If having and offering an opinion offends you then sadly you are one of the sheep who dont get the whole point. Oh well....

Please do correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to sense that you are very much driven by the technical side of photography ? I'm not so sure that such limited footage would help you to broaden your knowledge .... as to make an impact of great relevance in your future career and ARTISTIC SUCCES ?
In retrospective it is not so much that you are asking far more than you should expect but is your BOSSY like tone that seems to come across as rather incredible arrogant .... no offence meant :) ..... but then again that is my personal perception of absolute no importance ....

As galileo's universe wrote, as opposed to what you suggested, or the suggestion itself, it was more the tone of your approach: namely that non-inclusion of these suggested elements would make the shoot worthless. Reminded me a little of a self-declared epicure clicking his fingers at a waiter. I'd also like to point out that I didn't suggest image specifics (unlike your urging for the use of 10x8) but merely made MY suggestions as to what would make the shoot more entertaining for the viewer. Tongue in cheek though they may have been, as you stated they are equally valid.
