I'm only sorry my pictures of the glorious Tao shows are far less than the 'Glittering Fantasy' on which Tao Kurihara's collection was themed. Happily, there were lots of elements from previous Tao collections: the distressed, frilly wool bed jackets, the adorable knitted shorts, the pink fluro, the wrapped blanket all-in-ones with the bias binding ties to draw it to the body and the 'creative embroidery' touch - here in the form of loopy flowers, threaded all over the front of t-shirts. Add a touch of lame (sounds crazy, but paired with the black, punky wool, it was sublime) and polkadots, and you had one of the sweetest shows of the season. With Tao, such ecclecticism is tamed with diminuative proportions and a restrained hand. You'll just have to believe me until I charm another journalist to 'lend' us a better picture, not taken by a camera phone!
