It may not seem long ago that fashion week was upon us, but it's that time of the year when the BFC get round to deciding on the schedule for the S/S '08 shows. Specifically to decide on the 'New Gen' awards, I had the pleasure of meeting the pictured Rodnik boys last week. Though they are well known in the US -where they are stocked in the mighty Barneys among other outlets- they are relatively new to the UK. I was intrigued to hear about the concept behind the brand: apparently before they picked it up, 'Rodnik' was a defunct label previously started by a Russian princess at the turn of last century, which seems to fit with their quirky and slightly perverse approach to structuring their business. I mean, check out those hats.
