Born in Shanghai, William Chang lives and works in Hong Kong. Throughout his career, Chang has worked in various roles, predominantly as an editor and production designer working on films, music videos and advertising campaigns. He has worked with numerous established directors such as Stanley Kwan, Tsui Hark and with several emerging Hong Kong talents including Eric Kot and Jan Lamb. Chang is probably best known for his continued work with Wong-Kar Wai and has recently worked on ‘The Lady from Shanghai’ starring Nicole Kidman which is due to be released in late 2006.
