Judith Clark is a curator based in London. Clark trained in Architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture and at the Architectural Association; it was here where her shift towards fashion curation began as she realised the parallels between the design and dressing of spaces with that of dressing the human form. Clark founded the Judith Clark Costume Gallery in 1997, in London's Notting Hill, and between then and 2002 she curated twenty exhibitions of dress. She was a contributor to the exhibitions 'Radical Fashion' at the V&A, 'Addressing the Century' at the Hayward Gallery and 'Satellites of Fashion' at the Crafts Council and curated two major exhibitions at the V&A: 'Spectres: When Fashion Turns Back' and 'Anna Piaggi: Fashion-ology'. Clark has lectured widely on dress display and is joint London College of Fashion/V&A research fellow in contemporary fashion; she is is also a regular contributor to the Fashion Theory Journal.
Captured during the final week of their ground-breaking exhibition at London's Barbican Gallery, this series of films offers a glimpse...
